Self assembly was not too arduous though it is a fairly heavy item.

The dresser had to be put together. The table top had to be put on the 2 side drawers. Instructions were straightforward and were easy to understand. Once the packaging was removed it took less than 10 minutes to put it together. The mirror just sits on top.
