This is my first time using a retinol product and I should have read before hand to take it slowly as I went straight into using this every night before bed. I then developed little bumps and a red face,,,,,, so I stopped using it for a week or so and went to the vitamin c tonic instead to calm my skin down, I still have the small bumps but the redness has gone, phew. I have given it 4 stars still as apart from the react I loved how my skin felt, smoother and I do believe with a lighter usage (maybe 3 times a week) I will love it. I really love Pixi products and this Retinol Tonic is no different. I started with the smaller size to test it out and ended up liking it so much that I now buy the bigger size to refill the smaller bottle (better space saver). I really like the way this feels on my skin. It has a subtle smell which is much better than something overpowering and a little bit seems to go a long ways. GLOW has been my favorite line of Pixi products, but this Retinol line has definitely become a close second. Originally posted on www.pixibeauty.co.uk
